Senior Locator Oswyl was a middle-rank Temple Inquirer from the Father's Order in Easthome, of the Weald. His determination to find the truth in his investigations resulted in him arriving alone in Martensbridge in pursuit of a believed-dangerously-rogue shaman. He got help in his search from Penric kin Jurald.
They became friends, and so Oswyl brought him onto another case while Penric was visiting the Weald.
