Beetim is a huntsman who lives at the castle in Valenda, training hounds to the hunt for the people of the castle.
He is also superstitious, fearing that the ghost of a fox killed during the Daughter's season would stir up his dogs all night long. The cure for this problem is apparently to burn the fox's whiskers.
